We are pleased to let you know that we received a small grant from Clothworkers Foundation to help us set up an ICT Resource Centre. We have successfully set up the centre and is open for all from Monday - Friday 10.00 am - 4.00 pm. LRN is now also a UK online centre, which means clients can sign up on GO On website (www.go-on.vo.uk) using our Centre ID and from there learn how to use the internet, set up an email account, learn a game and many more. But we know that some people may need help to start using a computer, thus we applied for funding to help us fund a tutor who will then help clients to get digitally connected as well as learn the basics of using a computer. Having the ICT Centre in our premises would mean a lot to our clients who come to the office to access the various services we are providing. They can use the computers whilst waiting for their appointments or before or after using other LRN services. The use of the Centre is free.
