Lewisham Refugee Network (LRN) is an independent voluntary organisation set up in 1991. Its aims are to raise awarness of the rights and needs of people who are refugees and asylum seekers and to promote self empowerment for refugees and asylum seekers living, working or studying in the London Borough of Lewisham and neighbouring boroughs. LRN promotes the values of mutual respect for culture, religion, gender and race within its membership. The Management Committee compromises of refugee memebers and some non-refugees with relevant skills who are co-opted to give support to the Management Committee.
